Job Description:

Security Clearance:

• Secret

Education/ Certification Mandatory:

• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification. At least one approved Computing Environment certification.
• Approved examples include VMware VCP-DCV 2020 or newer/equivalent successor, VCAP, AWS Solutions Architect/Security, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or OCI credentials.
• Amendment allows six months to obtain DLA-approved CE certification; all candidates should meet at least one required certification.

Work Experience Mandatory:

• 7 years progressive experience managing/maintaining virtualized server environments and hosted applications.
• At least 2 years must include successful large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects involving network, virtualization and systems administration for virtual servers.

Education/Certifications Nice to Have:

• Multiple approved CE certifications spanning VMware/Broadcom, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and/or OCI; certifications that strengthen designated SME coverage.

Work Experience Nice to Have:

• DLA/DoD hybrid-cloud virtualization, VMware vSphere/vCenter/Cloud Foundation, Azure/AWS/OCI, DISA STIG/NIST 800-53, IaC/CI-CD, SecureView, COOP/DR, NIPRNET/SIPRNET.

References/Certificates/Diplomas Required:

• Current certification copies must accompany Attachment 3 resume.
• Signed Letter of Commitment required.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Manage and sustain on-premises and cloud virtualized infrastructure; deploy/configure/patch hypervisors and supporting hardware/software; administer VMs and cloud compute; monitor availability/security; troubleshoot hosts/hypervisors; maintain documentation; perform capacity/performance tuning; support HA/DR/COOP; remediate vulnerabilities; support incident/change management; automate with IaC/CI-CD; maintain DISA STIG and NIST control compliance.
